Complete admission setup in this order before accepting public applications.

Step 1 — Centers

1. Students → Centers (/admission-centers-settings).
2. Add center names used on the public form and pricing plans.
3. Save the center list.

Step 2 — Batches

1. Students → Batches (/admission-batches).
2. Create batches with schedule, center, teacher, and capacity.
3. Use /admission-batches/new for the full create form.

Step 3 — Admission plans

1. Students → Admission Plans (/admission-plans).
2. Set fees, features, linked center and batch, and visibility.
3. Plans appear on the public admission form.

Step 4 — Form builder

1. Students → Form Builder (/admission-form-builder).
2. Add sections and fields (text, dropdown, file upload, etc.).
3. Set required fields and conditional visibility.
4. Save — this is the public-facing admission form.

Step 5 — Manage admissions

1. Students → Admission (/admission).
2. Filter by status, search, import/export.
3. Open admission detail to review full submissions.
4. Change status as students progress.

Step 6 — Daily attendance

1. Students → Attendance (/student-attendance).
2. Select batch and date.
3. Mark Present, Absent, or Late.
4. Export Excel/PDF from the History tab.

Dashboard integration

Skates accounts see a Skates Academy block on the admin dashboard with admission and attendance summaries.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see the Students menu?

Your account must be the Skates business category with students.read permission.

Where does the public form live?

Configure it in Form Builder — share the public URL your academy uses for online admission.

Can I import existing students?

Use Import from the Admission page overflow menu where available.
